One Fish, Two Fish - Freemotion Embroidery
6 hr workshop
Skill Level: Confident Beginner to Intermediate Machine Quilter
Kit fee: $3
Supply List
- Sewing machine with ability to drop the feed dogs
- Freemotion/Darning foot. If purchasing a new foot consider buying an open toe or ”C” shaped
presser foot, being able to see the needle while stitching is a huge
advantage.
- Extension table to fit your machine (if you have one)
- Cushion or pillow to sit on, it helps to be sitting a bit higher
- A wide assortment of threads - I used a 12 wt cotton for outlining the fish and plants. For
fillers and background stitching I used variegated rayon, gold metallic, variegated Polyneon
and metallic, solid coloured rayons and matching cotton or polyester thread for the bobbin.
