Skill Level: Confident Beginner to Intermediate Machine Quilter
Kit fee: $7.00 for stencil kit and poly bat for Trapunto layer

• Sewing Machine with walking foot and freemotion foot
• 50 - one inch (1") safety pins
• Scissors for trimming trapunto batting (blunt tip or kid's scissors work well.) 
• Regular Masking tape - 1/2", 3/4" or 1". (Blue painters tape is not sticky enough.)
• Washable Blue Marker - regular tip
• YLI Wash-A-Way basting thread
• Sewing machine needles - 80/12 Sharps 
• 250 yds thread to match fabric (50/60 wt. cotton or #30/40 rayon or #40/50 poly)
• 18" ruler (Optional 12" x 12" square ruler)
• One 19" x 19" piece of low loft batting
• One quilt sandwich for practicing -  backing, batting and top to measure approximately 12" x 12"
• 5/8 yd. light colored solid or tone or tone fabric. From fabric cut one 18" x 18" piece for top and one 20" x 20" piece for backing.
