Machine Quilting |
 |
|
This class is an introduction
to basic machine quilting skills and is designed for the
beginner with little or no machine quilting experience.
Information, tips and techniques are also provided for the
machine quilter seeking to improve their machine quilting
skills. This class is designed to give the quilter the
information and skills necessary to successfully quilt a
project by machine. Students work on a small sample piece
(constructed prior to class) and learn how to mark and
adjust a design
using stencils, to stitch in the ditch, free motion and
stipple quilt. Tips are given on fabric choices, batting, marking tools and various types of thread
to help quilt every project successfully. Class ends
with a Show and Tell of quilts to help inspire and encourage
quilters to continue on their own and help answer that eternal
question, "How do I quilt as
desired?!"
