Quilted with YLI, 100 weight silk thread, using approximately 1,100 yards total for top and bobbin. I had a bit of top thread breakage but nothing to become  agitated about. The silk thread was wonderful to work with, it has such a fine stitch tension and the finished quilt is my favorite silk wholecloth to date! On the binding for this quilt, I applied Palmer/Pletsch, PerfectFuse Sheer interfacing to the wrong side of the unwashed silk and then cut crosswise strips for double French fold binding. The finished binding looks better than my previous silk quilts and the interfacing gave a much needed "body" to the silk. The binding is better than Quilt # 3, but not perfect! Quilt # 5 I will try something else.
